Description

After vacationing on the Outer Banks for nearly 30 years, the owners thoughtfully designed Show Boat with features such as a bright open layout, spacious living areas and a gourmet kitchen with Thermador range and griddle. The home is set in a secluded natural wooded preserve offering lush landscaping and providing a feeling of sanctuary. Almost every room opens to a deck overlooking the golf course, pool and gardens. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for taking a stroll or riding your bike.

**Show Boat is just a quick 10-15 minute walk to the beach, about six blocks of sidewalk with a traffic light to cross making for safe and easy crossing. There is also plenty of beach parking and there are public restroom facilities near the beach access.

Kitty Hawk is centrally located which allows guests to experience everything the Outer Banks offers. You won’t sit in the notorious change-over-day traffic. That's a big time and stress saver right there. And from here, you can just as easily reach the charming shops of Duck Village as you can experience kite activities on the amazing dunes of Jockey’s Ridge.

The owners hope you become regular visitors to the natural wonders of the Outer Banks, as they have.

Loved Kitty Hawk, loved the House and have booked again for next

The house was beautiful, very clean and and no negative issues of any kind. The pool was great for a late afternoon swim after returning from the beach. We were in cycling distance to the water and some of us took full advantage of that. Although we rented two houses in order for our reunion the Showboat is where we gathered. I have already reserved for next year and although there were a couple of minor issues working out the paperwork this time, the staff was great. Fully recommend this house rental are using the agency for something else. It’s a memory that brought back our childhoods and will give our children more memories to come

We're a family of 5 and this property was great for us. The outside could use a good amount of fixing up, however. The decks, and outside are shabby. The inside was great. We enjoyed the game room, multiple bathrooms and bedrooms.

FANTASTIC GETAWAY!!

WE HAD A GREAT, PEACEFUL TIME AT SHOW BOAT. THIS PROPERTY LIVED UP TO ALL EXPECTATIONS AND MORE. THE OUTSIDE WAS PERFECT FOR FAMILY TIME. WE DID RUN INTO MINOR HOUSEKEEPING ISSUES BUT IT DID NOT PREVENT A PERFECT WEEK!!!

One of our favorites

Nice place always one of our favorites, but showing wear. Did notice some improvements, new sofa cushions, some new carpet.
Could use some work on ceiling lots of cracking. Hot tub small but works, need new cover Styrofoam pieces in tub.

Nice house, but needs a net to keep golf balls out of the pool area. Pool was great. Close to beach, but not walking distance.

Loved Show Boat!

Great house with easy & close access to the beach. Enjoyed the pool & the house was very nice & comfortable. Some areas of deck &
House exterior are in need of repair, but nothing that hindered or bothered our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
