OCEANFRONT, 3rd fl. condo in the heart of Duck, NC is just mins. from the beach, stores, eateries and public bicycle paths in this appealing town. New floor, appliances, entirely outfitted kitchen, and comfortable linens compliment this vacation getaway! Conveniences include a community pool, dune top deck, and community boardwalk to the beach. Cozy and roomy living area for 5. Enormous 10X14 deck great for appreciating morning coffee calming. Tennis, pickle/basket ball and Playground for kids.
Welcome to our condo. My wife and I have been hosts on Airbnb for 7 years as we also host the unit below this one in unit 206. This unit is oceanfront and the building sits 100 feet from the beach. The vistas are striking.
We are located 3/4 of a mile from some of the best eateries, it's an simple 10-15 min. walk. The other end of duck is about 2 miles, so it makes for a great walk, there is also plenty of parking if you don't want to walk. Tons of shopping, a boardwalk, eateries, coffee stores, ice cream and fishing that you can walk to everyday. The town is painless to fall in adore with. There are nice bicycle paths and walking paths through the town of Duck.
This condo has been completely refreshed in the last 2 years. It's 684 sq ft. It has an oceanfront deck view that is a great place to sit and appreciate your morning coffee. There will be times that you will see dolphins from your deck. The living room has a intelligent TV and is comfortable for 4 people. There is a queen size pullout couch. The kitchen is completely supplied and updated. The master has a kingsized bed and a full master bath.
You could not ask for a better location with spectacular vistas. Watch the dolphins from the kitchen, living room or enlarged deck. Great space for a peaceful relaxing vacation.
You will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels and any other linens you may need.... or order them through Atlantic units or Moneys Worth Beach Units. I understand this is unlike most other airbnb spaces but, this is the norm in the outer banks. Most people choose to bring their own linens.
All of the condo is yours to use, savor it. Please feel complimentary to share your opinions and ideas of other things that we may need or could do to make it an even better experience. The day before your arrival I will send you the code for the door and the combination to the supply closet.
you will have my cell # when you receive your check in information
When it comes to linens, you have 2 choices, you can bring your own which most people do or you can rent linens locally from Atlantic Units or Moneysworth beach units. Both companies will deliver and pickup your linens. Atlantic beach units and moneys worth beach units are two companies that I recommend. There are pillows and comforters in the condo. You will need pillow cases, sheets, towels and any other type of linen you may need.
Starting with the 2nd week of June and running through August is the in season. This condo rents out from Friday to Friday during the in season... with few exceptions. Feel complimentary message me with with any exceptions that you may need.

Our top Rental booking tips and tricks:
Getting the best value:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Summertime is high season in the Kitty Hawk area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Many property management companies supply Kitty Hawk area visitors guides which include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Kitty Hawk visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning, picking, and booking a perfectrental home:
- To start, have your group choose vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Oceanfront SunSational Setting2 In heart of Duck has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before reserving the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about pets before booking.
- Looking for specific amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
During your stay:
- Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
