This home is located in a handsome wooded community of Southern Shores, ideally placed between Duck and Kitty Hawk. Cool off during the warm summer months with a nice dip in the pool or soak on a chilly nighttime in the hot tub.

Level 3: The top floor offers an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling, a handsome wooden frame fireplace, a kitchen with ocean vistas, and a cavernous dining area for a family dinner. The top-level Master King Bedroom is a great place to spend your morning watching the sunrise from the deck. There is also an en-suite connection.

Level 2: On the mid-level, there is a 2nd king bedroom with an en-suite, as well as a 3rd king bedroom, and a room with two twin beds.

Level 1: This beautiful beach home has a enormous size pool, plenty of room for the kids to play, and the adults to have some time to relax by the pool.

Get the best rental home value:

• Summer months are high season in the Kitty Hawk area. To find the best value, change your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
