Wood floor on the top two floors and ceramic tile on the ground-level is the foundation for a alluring experience. Several bedrooms have great sound vistas and the sunroom on the top level gives you a place to spread out without missing the view or each other.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming.

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • To find the best value, consider changing your family's Kitty Hawk vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
