Avoid most of the traffic by checking in on Sunday! This enchanting home features decorated interiors and refreshed appliances. There is a private walkway to the beach with spellbinding vistas. Soak up the sun on the deck or relax in the hot tub. Special features include a screened porch, decks, hot tub for 5, charcoal grille, port-a-crib, high chair, electronics, high-speed internet, and 5 TVs. You will appreciate the pleasures of the sea and all the amenities of a great beach home. There are no homes between you and the Atlantic Ocean, but you do need to cross a narrow 35 mph street.

However, due to the nature of our area, we cannot guarantee internet will always be functioning, as the Outer Banks can experience outages from time to time. We strongly advise that guests bring their own personal hotspots or other cell service devices to provide internet access, especially if the internet is needed for work or school. How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Kitty Hawk area. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.
