Sound side garden one level condo centrally located in Kitty Hawk OBX. There is a handsome Olympic size community pool with deck chairs and lounges, basketball and tennis/pickleball courts. It is a short drive to a public beach access (roughly 1 mile)!
This one level ,no stairs condo ( one step to enter home) is attractively decorated with coastal décor. It has a open floor plan- light and airy with a comfortable living room with upgraded queen sleeper couch-We have added boards for the sleeper couch/bed, to increase the comfort for our guests- they are located underneath the couch cushions- Please use the boards going from top to bottom- It is not intended to cover the entire bed but to cover the metal bars ,flat screen intelligent tv-streaming using your account( this is for all the tv's) or savor complimentary options ***** No Cable
dining room -seats four ,completely equipped kitchen with counter eating area for two and laundry area .
Owners bedroom with comfortable queen size bed, flat screen intelligent tv and private en suite.
Guest suite with comfortable queen size bed, flat screen intelligent tv and bathroom attached.
Private fenced patio to appreciate in the morning with your coffee, returning from the beach , invigorating pool or in the evening with a glass of wine. Four burner Gas grille to prepare your favorite meal ( please clean after it cools so another guest may enjoy) For safety ensure the propane gas is turned off at the cooktop and the tank.
Condo is ideal for a modest family or visiting with close friends.
This condo is in a prime location. It is centrally located to the beach ,the sound, the Wright Brothers Memorial, shopping, golf and eateries.
A short drive for a day trip to Duck ,Corolla, Hatteras Island or Manteo.

Due to health/safety reasons, we do not allow family pets/animals of any kind!

Linens are supplied in your rental (1 bath towel,1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps ,bed linens including pillows) Kitchen towels and hot pad. ****Please bring beach towels.
Beds are made prior to your arrival (except queen sleeper couch- linens and towels for this guest, is located in the owner suite closet),starter supply of toilet paper, paper towel, bathroom soap, laundry pods and dish detergent.
*****Fireplace is non operational
Check in and check out with no person contact.
All bed linens and towels are washed in hot water that's at least 60 degrees Celsius/140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Simple clean up Guidelines :
Remove all trash from home and take to dumpster at the end of street
Place any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on..
Return any moved furnishings or items back to the original place
Remove any sand outside after a day at the beach
Please return home to how it was on arrival.
Please note end of May through first week of September this is a Friday arrival. Avoid the traffic! Seven day minimum stay end of May through first week in September.

About the Area
Located in Kitty Hawk, this condo is near theme parks and near the beach. Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Children at Play Museum and Sea Scape Golf Links. Traveling with kids? Consider Paradise Fun Park, or check out an event or a game at Full Throttle Speedway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to go & When to reserve a Kitty Hawk rental home:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking your Kitty Hawk vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.

- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
