Skip the traffic to Duck and savor our private getaway in the trees on the ocean side of Hwy 12 in Southern Shores. Only 10 mins. from the Wright Memorial Bridge and two tons back from the beach, Willems Beach Club @ Southern Shores is an ideal vacation destination for those looking to relax in a private "treehouse" like setting. Savor ocean vistas, two levels of wrap around decks overlooking the pool, and plenty of space for the entire family to relax. Go for a bicycle ride or try surfing, kayaking or paddleboarding - tons of beach toys are supplied. Our home sits at the end of a cul-de-sac and is surrounded by tree canopy to create privacy from close by homes while still accepting expansive vistas of the Atlantic Ocean from the deck. The private beach path is right beside our home, making it an painless 3 min. walk to the beach. All 5 bedrooms are cavernous and have sliding glass doors opening out to two levels of wrap-around decks. We allow one well behaved dog over one year old to join you on vacation with our prior approval and pet fee (no exceptions!).

Major renovations inspired by HGTV were finished in May 2017, a new pool was installed in 2018, a new upper deck was constructed in 2022, and new siding was finished in 2023. You will adore our coastal decor and completely outfitted kitchen! Renovations include refreshed floor throughout, light fixtures, paint, furnishings and decor, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz counters, and a farm sink. We also added a bathroom to create 3 Master Suites w/King beds. Our home also offers 1 Queen bedroom and a Pyramid Bunk (full over twin) bedroom that share a bath, a game room, an outdoor shower, a charcoal grille, a laundry room, flatscreen tvs and complimentary secured wifi. Our guests can also appreciate the Southern Shores Civic Association amenities including tennis/pickleball courts, a marina, playground, and Soundfront park and beach.

Conveniently located 5 mins. from both Kitty Hawk and Duck, you can conveniently get to all of the OBX towns to enjoy the eateries, stores, and local attractions such as Wright Memorial, Jockey's Ridge, NC Aquarium, The Lost Colony, H2OBX waterpark, movie theater, outlet stores, etc. There is a paved bicycle path through Southern Shores and Duck so you can walk or ride bicycles from the end of our street into Duck for shopping, dinner or to visit the original Duck Donuts!
