How far is the beach?
The beach is just a few blocks away from the home so it is definitely within walking distance, however, we always recommend driving as you do have to cross one busier street. There are numerous complimentary parking beach accesses within a 2 min. drive. Also, we provide 2 beach chairs, 1 cooler, and an umbrella so it is a bit easier to take everything to the beach via car!

Is There A Grille?
Unfortunately No. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grille related home fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grille at our home. :(

Do you have a tea pot?
Unfortunately No :/ But the Keurig can brew a cup of hot water for you to steep tea in!....

We live next to some striking neighbors who look out for each others home. It is extremely safe and peaceful here. There are only homes on one side of the street making it very peaceful and calming vs other areas in the Outer Banks.

The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Kitty Hawk Woods Reserve, while Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Children at Play Museum, or check out an event or a game at Full Throttle Speedway. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
