STEPS FROM THE BEACH WITH STUNNING OCEAN VIEWS, POOL, CLUBHOUSE
This private oceanside townhome in Kitty Hawk has everything for the extraordinary beach vacation:
- Stunning ocean vistas
- Direct beach access
- Resort amenities (pool, tennis, racquetball, basketball, rec room, exercise)
I remember when the Sea Dunes were first constructed and they were completely unique because they have first floor garages with great resort amenities, but are still just a few steps to the beach. There are very few properties that are so enormous inside, with 3 bedrooms, so close to the beach, with so many resort amenities that are still so centrally located. Plus you get multiple balconies with breezy ocean vistas. A hidden gem on the Outer Banks.
This is a townhouse unit. You have access to the whole place.
We have contactless entry. But I'm only a text or call away.
Clearly the sunrise on the balcony over the ocean view cannot be beat. The beach is so close. But there are also many great stores and eateries in walking distance: John's Drive In and Cap't Franks are Outer Banks institutions; The Black Pelican Oceanfront Restaurant is one of the best on the beach; Barefoot Bernies has live music; and don't forget La Fagota's Mexican, Sanya Sushi, Stack 'em High Pancakes.
Sea Dunes is located at the 4.5 mile post, between Highway 158 and North Virginia Dare Trail. Our unit has parking for 2-3 cars.
80 Steps from the Beach.
Must adhere to resort rules posted in the unit, I can send you a copy on request. They are common-sense rules so that all in the community are happy!
Quiet time after 10PM
No cooking curry or other heavily spiced dishes - we don't have a spice kitchen and cannot remove the odor from heavily spiced cooking between guests - I will assess a $250 fee through the Resolution Center for the cost of odor removal.
No overcrowding - I will assess a $100 per nighttime fee for each person over the max. occupancy of 8 through the Airbnb resolution center.
Must be 25 years old to make a reservation.

How to find the best Kitty Hawk vacation rental experience:
Get the most from your budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Kitty Hawk vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
- Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on local shops and restaurants.
Choosing the best vacation home in Kitty Hawk:
- Begin by selecting your trip dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. The Seafarer at Sea Dunes has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Kitty Hawk rental home search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property owner before booking the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- At Check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a fantastic vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
