NOTE: This is a Sunday-to-Sunday rental. We do NOT have daily/nightly units.

Beach access is just 50 steps away and you'll be on the beach! POOL?? - Of Course! We have that, too - the 20' x 40' pool is certain to be an added additional to your vacation (for registered guests only). Appreciate the marvelous view of the ocean and the pool from the covered observation tower or the screen-enclosed porch - both have constructed-in picnic tables for 'dining out' and just appreciating your time of relaxation. This home has Central Air/Heat throughout PLUS all rooms have ceiling fans. UPSTAIRS: features a King Bedroom Suite with TV, DVD; 1-1/2 baths; a completely-equipted kitchen; living room with couch and appreciate seat. DOWNSTAIRS: there are 3 bedrooms: 1 Queen, 2 twin beds and bunk beds; a TV room with DVD/VCR, couch and appreciate seat; a full bath; and a utility area with washer, dryer, iron, & ironing board. (Seriously, does anyone really iron while on vacation???) Enclosed outside shower plus a hose on front of home for a fast 'foot-wash' coming back from the beach and for keeping the bay-windows hosed off to enable the best view of the ocean, etc. WI-FI for your convenience. Paved parking area. We have a Grayco Pack-N-Play for the little one. Weekly units from Sunday 4PM to Sunday 10AM. Linens not supplied but available locally from rental companies. See FAQ for more info and details. This is emailed to you when you select CONTACT THE OWNER. You will be very glad you selected this home for your vacation. We have many families who return every year and we'd adore to add your name to that list. ENJOY! Sorry, this is a 'no-pet' home & smoking not allowed indoors. Thanks for your compliance.

Getting the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • Summer is high season in Kitty Hawk. To book the best rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Kitty Hawk area travel guides which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Kitty Hawk visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • First and foremost, have your group select trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Huge Pool + Direct Beach Access = Betcha Like it has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is usually available online. Otherwise, call the property manager before booking your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to book a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Advice for a great stay:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Upon arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
