You'll feel right at home when you step inside this attractively decorated and freshly modernized property. The comfortable Living Area features cozy furnishings, shiplap paneling and exposed ceiling beams, making it the ideal spot to relax after a long day at the beach and recount your appealing adventures. Plus, sizable windows let in plenty of bright, natural light and give guests an unobstructed view of the Atlantic. Downwinder is the ideal location for a week of Outer Banks fun! You'll never be more than a few mins. away from great shopping, local attractions and superb dining. A Wal-Mart Supercenter, Harris Teeter and Food Lion are all close by, so you'll have no problem stocking up on groceries and supplies. For a fast lunch, stop by Art's Place to enjoy the best burgers on the beach! When it's time for dinner, Bad Bean Baja Grille offers fresh seafood with a spicy flare, Barefoot Bernie's Tropical Grille & Bar has standard bar fare and tropical-themed dishes, or to sample a little bit of everything, visit Jimmy's Seafood Buffet. The anglers in your group can pop over to T.W.'s Bait & Tackle for all their fishing needs. The Sea Scape Golf Links golf course is a great way to spend an afternoon under the sun. Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is on the beach. Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Sea Scape Golf Links and Sea Scape Links Golf Course. Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
