If you are looking for true beach living, this is the place for you. Right on Virginia Dare Trail aka Beach Road, this home is literally steps from the beach. You have simple walking distance to both the Byrd Street and Fonck Street beach accesses.
The owners have completely remodeled this property this year bringing you a modern, upgraded experience!
The biggest issue you will have on your vacation at One More Moon is deciding where you want to hang out! Will you be down on the hammock underneath the home? Maybe playing a game of ping pong or sit in the hot tub while the grille is cooking the evening meal. Or perhaps sitting at the covered bar area telling your family and/or friends about your day. Oh, or maybe you'll venture up to the top deck and sit on one of the chairs sipping a cold drink while staring at the ocean. One more choice is the covered front porch with a table and chairs as well as a sitting area. Did we mention the outdoor pool? Watching the cars drive down Beach Road while hearing the waves crash on the beach. Of course, the inside living space is super comfortable to hang out in as well.
The alluring one-level living accepts for convenience and comfort. You will find the living area, the kitchen filled with new appliances, a dining area, 2 Queen En Suites, and 1 Pyramid Bunk En Suite all on the same level. All of the bedrooms have access to the deck! From the kitchen area, head out onto the privacy of a full front porch and savor a meal as you listen to the waves crash on the shore across the street.
The beach is so comfortably accessible that you might not want to go anywhere else, but being in the heart of Kitty Hawk, you will be so close to delicious local eateries, grocery stores, shopping, and attractions. In addition, it is a fast drive to both Duck and Kill Devil Hills on either side.
An outdoor pool, hot tub, and fresh, outdoor, covered back bar are included in your vacation rental. Spend your days at the beach or the pool and your nights in the hot tub. Go up to the upper-level deck above the bar and appreciate some ocean or star gazing in the handsome Outer Banks sky. Challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong at the all-weather table under the carport. And if you just want to sit back, get away, and read your book or take a nap, the multi-level decks are filled with comfortable outdoor seating. There is also a washer and dryer available at this property should you want to have clean and fresh towels with you every day at the beach.
**There are 3 parking spaces for guests.**
**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No family pets allowed in pools.**
Check-In begins at 4pm.Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.
About the Area
Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Kitty Hawk Pier and Sea Scape Golf Links are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Children at Play Museum and Paradise Fun Park. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
